On the Chromium version of Microsoft Edge, there are two ways to create a profile. You can create a profile using a local account, or you can set up a profile with a Microsoft account, which is the preferred method if you want to synchronize settings and data across devices.

However, depending on the method you use, the profile will get a default image. If you’re using a local account, then you’ll see generic icon, and if you use a Microsoft account, then your account picture will appear in the profile.

If you prefer to see a different image, you can use the Edge profile settings to change it.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to change the picture of the profile you’re using on Microsoft Edge.
