Google augmented reality glasses is the new gadget revealed by the giant of search today in a Google+ post. If you see someone in the near future wearing an uncommon kind of glasses, you might just stumbled up on a person who works at Google and it is testing their new glasses.

In a new venture of the company called “Project Glass”, which BTW are not yet for sale — these are just prototypes –, the Google X team is testing a new concept of computing.

Watch this next video released by the company of how the world will look using these futuristic glasses. Like taken form a science fiction movie, these glasses look awesome and the concept functionality seem promising. Google also decided to let the public have a peak of the Project Glass, because they are seeking feedback and new ideas from real people.

We think technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t.

A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do. — Google X team said.

The video shows a pair of glasses that fits just perfectly and they can display information to the lenses and allows the user to communicate with them via voice commands. The glasses also include a camera that records video and takes photographs.

So, what do you think?
